NBA／誓言終結冠軍荒！騎士三巨頭合拍廣告

克里夫蘭騎士隊上賽季在總冠軍戰中敗給金州勇士無緣終結隊史冠軍荒，三巨頭LeBron James、Kyrie Irving和Kevin Love本季開季前一起在《TNT》的廣告中扮演在沙漠中接受試煉的戰士，而他們的最終目的就是總冠軍獎盃，宣誓捲土重來。
只見小皇帝戴著帥氣護目鏡和領斤並手持指南針扮演領導者角色，一旁的Irving將手中隊旗往沙中霸氣插下，愛神則是拉開手中望遠鏡向前方看去，此時畫面出現三人的目的地－NBA總冠軍的歐布萊恩金盃，在一片沙海當中更顯奪冠渴望。
本季騎士隊在休賽季並無重大引援，新賽季先發陣容仍是以三巨頭為主，搭配防守型的Iman Shumpert、Timofey Mozgov，僅引進老將Richard Jefferson和兩位板凳浪人Austin Daye、Jared Cunningham，再加上從莫斯科中央陸軍「帶槍投靠」的30歲俄籍中鋒Sasha Kaun以增加陣容深度。
新秀方面，本季選秀會上騎士隊從灰狼交易來的20歲馬其頓裔土耳其小前鋒Cedi Osman決定繼續留在伊斯坦堡的母隊安納托利亞艾菲斯磨練，不過在夏季聯盟中簽下一位落選的22歲控球後衛Quinn Cook，他曾在7月10日面對快艇隊時爆發砍下22分3籃板9助攻帶領球隊101：100獲勝，值得期待。
騎士隊目前NBA熱身賽已進行1場，主場96：98不敵亞特蘭大老鷹，下一場將作客費城76人。
